850 for cnc carved maybe. How much time do you have in the carving? I've carved a lot of relief carvings and I have to say for a piece that big I'd have at least a week into it. And that's only the carving.
I put my hand on my wallet and was thinking, do I have 850? But I dont. I'd turn around and sell it and get some dollar bills ya'll. he he Do some math and come up with all the labor costs, material costs, overhead, and profit and then post what you've come up with. Also, if you want to sell your stuff cheap invest in a small shop bot or something that has a small footprint but can carve anything. Good luck

I agree with Kol. maybe $8,500. What you have there is artwork, not a garden bench.

Donald,
Very nice bench. The carving looks great in the photo. The only thing that would keep the price of your bench down is the fact it's made from pine. I can't tell the quality of construction and finishing from the pics, but $850 is still not enough for this, even made from pine.
If it was made from White Oak, Mahogany or Teak, it would bring probably triple or more the, $850.

Good question. Was it done on a CNC? You did say it was hand carved though didn't you? So on that note...
you could probably get 850. for the carving itself as just a wallhanging or something. You should think about advertising your talent and try carving staircases and risers, things like that. You could actualy be a rich person in no time doing that. But the bench is also nice work too thats why I say staircases because you have a talent. There is a big demand for custom staircases.

Great work! Please respond with the brand name of the spar varnish you used, how your finish turned out, and how you applied the varnish. Did you use a foam brush, bristle brush, wipe-on varnish, or spray-on varnish. Thanks for responding.
