Quilted maple buffet with bear claw handles. Back is shiplap tiger maple and drawers, and so are the drawers and legs.
I finished this piece two weeks ago just in time for an art show in Rochester and I sold it to a lady that owns 8 of my pieces through the years.

How about subtlety? Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
I think a fair criticism is that this is all way too much - it should be turned down quite a bit.
Some beautiful figured wood on display in this piece and the desk. Good for you that you sold them, that's what matters in todays economy. These pieces are visually busy but I don't see that as a bad thing and if the client likes it then you have succeeded. Nice work.
Just out of curiosity, what would a piece like this sell for?
