Very cool, how long did the carving take to produce?

First, thanks to the staff for posting the picture. I couldnt get it to load.
Thanks for the comments. The horse took about 4-5 hours to carve and sand. I took another 2-3 hours with waterbase poly to seal it, so it ( the maple was semi-green) would dry slow and not check.
Its been 6-7 months and no cracks.

First off, nice work. Secondly if you can do work like that (the carving part) in 8 hrs, I tip my hat. That door would KILL in my neck of the woods $. I have plenty of dry wood for a guy with your talents to chip away at, and a customer base...just not your carving skills. Good job.

My Buddy Bob does the carving. He is amazing. I got the wood and he carved the horse. He can carve anything! I wish I had his talent. I just do the woodworking.
Oh, he does that carving with a chainsaw by the way. Then some projets may get finished with a Dremel or a torch or sanding. He just looks at a piece of wood and goes at it!
