Company Name: Advanced TechnologiesThis project began a few years ago when I saw the need for a more advanced chair. The guidelines for this project were simple, a personal support device capable of supporting (1) human in Earths gravity. After several years of R&D and countless government grants I present to you the AUC (Advanced Utility Chair). This AUC model 113 passed our guidelines with flying colors and added a beverage holding device and a stability control system for high wind conditions, the SCS also doubles as a coat rack. The AUC model 113 will enter production at the 1st of the month with expected record high sales.

Outstanding work!!! I am glad to see that government grants do work. With engineering as advanced as your AUC presents I hope that your company with not limit it to only gravity stricken humans. I think the engineers at MIT and NASA will want to contract with you for AUC for non-gravity environments (AUC-NG) Once again keep up the good work.

a number of years ago i worked in a museum's shop prototyping new exhibits. i kept making cabinetry when what was really needed was the equivalent version of your chair: slam it together, see what it looks like and how it functions, go back to the drawing board and modify it to a closer version of what was needed. it took a while to figure that out and a bit longer to actually be able to override my natural, and deeply in-grained, tendency towards perfectionism.
well done.

Great job! I see now that the US is well positioned to retake furniture manufacturing away from the evil third worlders that would have us bowing to them and their inferior furniture. This is a great relief to those of us her in good ol' USA trying to compete in the alleged world marketplace.
Your innovation, design execution, and overall dedication to excellence are evident. Cheers to you and the entire staff! When will the related table protoypes be ready?

HOW MUCH?????!!!!!

Is your R&D department looking into ways of making the AUC "sea worthy" so that earth-bound humans can have personal support devices that float?
Posted By: | Tom McIntosh |
Does it come fully assembled or will it be knock down?
Posted By: | Harry DeVrieze |
Outstanding! Meaning it should be out standing in a field some where with a bulls eye on it :0) .
Proof of what a little knowledge a few tools & time can do!
And by the way I don't think its referred to as "unrecycled" any more. The new buzz word is "Unreclaimed" ;>) Its more marketable to your client demographic(Folks educated beyond their intellegence with disposable income) Its a big market so get that CNC programed!
Offer custom finishing as an option.

Unfortunately the table prototype didn't work out so well, we are in the process of waiting for more government funding on that project. The AUC model 113 was initially built for NASA, but due to new space shuttle payload regulations and the recent issues with there faulty external fuel tank insulation the contract was canceled. We now have a contract with the department of defense to supply 44,000 units that will be finished in desert camo. As for the cost of the 113, I'm not at liberty to release accurate data at this time, but I can say just the R&D on the 113 is in the 10's of millions.

I was intrigued to notice the sun dial effect from the right arm rest, casting a shadow to the back rest. I can clearly observe, it was 5:34PM when this photo was taken.
well done

Wow thats amazing.
Maybe I should place an order for 250 of them.
Posted By: | ST |
Well, Vern the minimum order on these units is 300. But you seem like a very intelligent guy that knows a good investment when you see one, I suppose I could make a small compromise. Just email me and I'll give you the account information. As for the rest of you, 300 is the minimum order, NO EXECTPIONS.

Great Chair, when does production on the folding version begin?

Well, now we know that the genious of Picasso is genetic.
The evidence offered here shows that his offspring have appeared in the furniture business and in Goverment.
I love it when someone warps my perspective and not my lumber.
Thanks ST
