This is my second carving of the Green Man.
I usually use small files to smooth out all the carving knife cuts but on this green man I left all the carving cuts giving it a more natural look. When carving this Green man I changed a little bit to the mouth, nose and eyes giving him a friendlier look then my first green man.
When teaching my advance carving class I carve along with the others taking the class. This is a great way to have fun carving and also teach at the same time.
