A nifty litte idea I had when playing in the shop one day was to take on the task of retrofitting a random ciger box with a working wooden locking system, ...and this is what I came up with...
Each slider has 10 rings around at measured intervals on the shaft. Find the right alignment of the two sliders and the lid will open. So much cooler than it was just sitting in the closet and worth mentioning that it's made from a few pieces from out of my offcut bin. : )
