Very nice. Are those castors? If so, what kind?

They are adjustable legs. The front 12 inches of the cabinets on the window wall cantiliver an 1 1/2 of the floor so that they can slide their rug under it. Otherwise their rug would not fit in to the room. Then they snug the legs down to the floor to get the support on the front of the cabinets. Pic 9 shows the rug inder the cabinets.

Very nice work, is that top all solids or veneered? It looks as though there is end grain but can't tell. I like how the paneling continues under all of the desk area, it is a real finished look.

The top is all solid wood. I picked boards with similar grain and color to make it look more even. Thats one thing I like about makore wood is the evenness of color and grain from one board to the other. The top is 7/8 thick.
The only downside to working with makore is that it requires carbide tooling because of the high content of silica in the wood. I had to replace my HSS jointer knives after about 300 bf. The cost of carbide tersa knives for my jointer was 10 times more than HSS. I was ok on my planer I have the shelix carbide insert cutterhead on that.
Also the wood dust irritates your nose really bad. I heard a story where someone got a nose bleed from it. You must have good dust collection on your machines and also your palm sanders. And have tissues handy.
Other than those few things I love working with the wood and it finishes beautifuly.
