Hmm, something just doesn't look like it's in the proper proportion to me. The top looks too tall.
Customer wanted stacked filing drawers and a 21" drop front. Wanted this design despite many alternative proposals.
Very nice looking piece of furniture! How did you construct the fold down top? Is it built like a recessed panel door? Or, did you do bread board ends on the ends of the top? Thanks.

The drop front is a single sheet of 1/2" veneer core ply, captured in Shaker stiles and rails. The three vertical center rails are on-lays.
