This is a Coffee Table that I made for a customer, the base and top edge is carved out of solid mahogany. The top Parquetry center veneer is Maple Burl and the outside border is Quartered Sapele Veneer. The 1/8" deep x 5/16" wide inlay banding is out of solid Black Ebony.

To figure out the design of the Ball and Claw Lions foot and leg with the caved acanthus leaf I made a full scale clay model. This was one of my most enjoyable pieces of furniture I have made in a long time. Thank you for looking.

Nice work! very sculptural, light travels very smooth, how fast did you made it ?
Posted By:ozan
can you make 50 of them next 5 month?
Posted By:Dennis Zongker
Thank you OZAN, are you from the planet Zotar?

For you I would gladly make three of them in in five months. I would have to work on them full time to complete them in time. Also a deposit of 50% $37,000.00. If you really wanted 50 coffee tables It would take me around seven years and a $ 625,000.00 deposit. The only way I could make it faster is if I purchased some big ass machines with a bunch of employees to make them.

That's just under $40 hr if you don't allow for material. Big ass machines and a bunch of employees can be had, more time in your prime cannot. Great work.

Dennis, really beautiful work, they are a much better price if you buy all 50. Only $12,500 each.

Hi Alex,

For me in my prime, I love and enjoy woodworking. I just wish there were more hours in the day for making woodworking projects. Thank you for the complement.
