Good job with design - aligning the window muntins with window return panels and the shelves all around and the passage doors. Nicely thought out.
Do you do the design work or is it from others?
The initial design is by the architect. The coordinating off things lining up and working is done by our shop drawings we do in house. Then is resubmitted for the architect approval
Well, it is nice work, and it is especially good to see that someone cares to get those details correct.
How is it finished.
Looks great!
the stain is a oil based wiping stain with 2 coats sanding sealer and 1 coat 30 sheen precat lacquer
Beautiful design and execution. If you dont mind, what was final cost and what part of the country?
$41000.00 with instalation montreal, quebec, canada
Wonderful work. I can't get enough of it!
Awesome job! I appreciate how challenging it is to stain cherry and have the results all turn out relatively the same color.
That is outstanding work! we have done a couple but not that detailed. I worked for a comp. that did these on a regular basis and it was the most fun/challenging work to do. I love libraries
Wow, exceptional work! At $41k, they got an incredible bargain, no?
Great Job! Are the large raised panels (esp above the chimney) solid wood? how were you able to get such a wide piece to look so uniform? Thanks
Fabulous work! I like the cornice detail and fluted columns. The top compartments with flap doors is also a great idea, I hate wasting space that can be used as storage. It's a privilege to complete such a project. Keep it up.
The price for us was good. You have to understand that this was just one room in this 20000 sq foot home.
As for the raised panels they are not solid wood they are veneered
