Marquetry Trial Pieces

I seemed to have found myself temporarily sidelined do to an injury and couldn't walk. So I brought my supplies into the kitchen (wife approved) to work on some marquetry panels as test pieces for a future furniture design. I also owed some buddies pictures of their cabins so I banged them out while I was at it. These are marquetry panels. I did some wood burning and painting to add details and highlights as needed.
