Kevin, nice metal work. Where do you get your metal done? Did you do the curved bottom trim in house or have it made? I've got a project coming up that will need similar metal pieces and need a less expensive source than my current one.
Thanks
Craig
Craig, we have the metal done by a company called Industrial Metal Services in Blackfoot, Idaho. Then they get sent to a place in California, Bud's Metal Polishing, for polish. I find it a lot nicer to have the pieces laser cut out of sheet stock. They cut the inlays from a CAD file that we used to make our router templates ensuring a great fit. Even the frames around the drawer fronts were cut from one piece of stainless sheet stock, No seems in the corners for a much cleaner look.
Wonderfully done. That finish is not easy to pull off. The elegant curve at the bottom and the accompanying metal accent make the piece IMHO.
Friggin amazing piece. How'd ya do that? Mdf mierfolds? How much did they cost? After 23 years im still curious
