This origami inspired table is made of spalted maple and ebonized ash. Butterflies are made of Rosewood & Ebony, shape reflects origami butterfly. To stabilize the crotch there is a 32" long 3/4" diameter steel rod running from one side to the other passing through the large butterfly. Entry point of the rod is hidden by the folded edge. Base and top are attached via M&T joinery.
