I built this table a few years ago. Always wanted some nice chairs to go with it. I was in a museum and saw the George Nakashima collection of tables and chairs. I thought they looked so cool. I was amazed at his work. I was able to make measurements and made 4 chairs that are close not an exact copy. I earned even more respect for the man. What talent he had. Chairs just flow. . Very comfortable and sturdy. They look very simple to construct, until you take on the project. Many little subtle things going on.
