Nice job. Did you attach these to a premade garage door? How did you attach the wood pieces to the metal door? What kind of finish did you use for these doors?

Very nice, in fact just exactly what I need to make. Could you please share construction tips. Are they fully mortice and tennon construction? Re the panels set into dadoes cut in the rails and styles or are they held in with separate stops? Can I purchase, beg or steal a set of construction drawings from you? Thanks to all at woodweb forums for a very educational site!

These are my own personal garage doors.I didn't make any drawings except for a couple of sketches. If you give me some time I and your e-mail adress I would be glad to make you a set of working drawings.I need to know if you have autocad if not I will send them in pdf
I can't tell from the photo ... is the infill of each door set up like a frame and panel door (to allow for expansion and contraction)?

The doors are beautiful. At this point I hate to ask, but I have been hunting for quite some time for a how-to on garage doors. I would greatly appreciate anything you might be able to send my way on design and construction of those doors. Again, awesome job!
