My high school "Wood Products and Processes" students are each building one of these colonial cabinets. They will have a raised panel door, and finished with milk paint. Period hardware as well. I will post pics of finished cabinets. Thanks

i think that is a nice little starter project. simple but not so simple that you will lose interest.

thanks for the reply. I chose this project because i was able to incorporate many different jointery tech. We used end rabbets for case top and bottom, biscuits for the shelves, pocket hole screws for face frame and miters for all trim. Raised panel door will get them on shaper.

love it, would be intersted in size and dims? I also teach HS woods and would like to try it next year.
