$7000 for the vanity looks approx 6'. This price is NY based
Wow! 7k just for the vanity! I guess my mortgage is only 700 a month instead of 3,000! In the central of the country I would get between 9 and 12K for the entire job.
I must concur with JT, In Wisconsin that is approximately a 10,000 dollar job.
here in NH the vanity would be about $3K, I would estimate the kitchen around $15K. Of course this is the East and we are close to Boston.
To Ari,
If you can get 7K for a vanity that size, I'll build them for you for $2500 and send you one a week. The kitchen job in central KY is about a 10-12K job without countertops.
ill build them for john for $1800, ship them for $75 and he can sell them to you beautiful work
dayton ohio is a tight market for kitchen / vanity / and tops id have to be around 15- 18K for everything
its hard being a quality woodworker in a market where everyone wants everything for free and they think we just effortlessly spit this stuff out

Come on folks, lets be realistic. OK $ 7000 may be a bit pricey for a vanity but some numbers I'm seeing bounced around ... $1800... $2500... !0K for an entire kitchen. I don't know. Seems to me you guys take a lot of pride in your, and that ought to be worth more.
