The Tree Trunk Sawmill and WoodshopListing #638 Listed on: 06/21/2024The Trunk Sawmill and Woodshop offers a custom sawmilling service. We do so with the perspective of a designer and maker. We mill to your specifications, capturing the best results from each log. We also procure logs ourselves, which we process into dimensional lumber or live edge slabs. This material is air dried prior to going into one of our two dehumidification kilns. Once this process is is complete the lumber will be taken to the shop and come out S4S. If slabs are under 20” they will be planed smooth. This timber is then located in our condition showrooms for viewing and purchasing. The Tree Trunk offers kiln drying services to the public as well. We are also woodworkers capable of processing your material or making a unique piece for your home. There is no waste here. Cut-offs from the mill are sold as firewood and sawdust is sold as a compost additive. We are open Monday-Saturday 9-5. If you cannot make it during these hours call us for an appointment. |
