There seems to be a bit of slop in the table. After a long study and reading the cryptic manual, it seemed the only way was to whack the housing bolt (where the handle is) back towards the fence. That worked but seems crude (italian?) I am italian which is funny. Second thing is as long as I've had the saw I've never been able to figure out how to lock down angles between the detents. Anyone?

To lock the in between angles tighten the knob on the right side of the saw near the back. I can't recall exactly how to adjust it but the angle is held by a v shaped piece going into a v shaped groove so as it wears it just goes deeper.
