Biesse 13s Even Me !

07/02/2014

From original questioner:

Ok fellows I have surrendered to another machine. got a biesse 13s PTP

in start up I get a "PLC 9001 thermic relays KO" error

and a ECN_13 Axis alarm error

it has the NC 410 controller.

any Ideas on how to get past this and start up.. was there a manual (In English) for this unit ??

Jim
We have a Rover321 and get this sometimes. There is a relay switch in the elect. cabinet that gets tripped. Looks like a breaker that flips up and down. Is this a new machine?

Got it from a closing shop almost made it to the metal grinder,, I hired its last operator a year ago it is a 99 model in pretty good shape

For the axis alarm error you might check the switch on the y-axis beam. If the router gets pushed manually past the switch you can get axis errors. Biesse makes a good machine. We have an older 321 PTP and a newer Rover G 5x12 flat table.

Thermic relays is the emergency line. You need the electrical manual and a meter to check 24vdc.

Or if you are not savy with a meter you can try resetting all emergency stop buttons, need air pressure at around 100 psi. Then with someone holding green power button down lightly tap on piggy back relays until you hit the correct one. I bet you lunch this will get it running.

START FOR NC410
HOW TO START YOUR MACHINE IN THE MORNING
TURN POWER ON
TURN AIR ON
CHECK ALL EMERGENCY SWITCH AND CHECK AIR PRESSURE
WAIT UNTIL THE SCREEN IS ON
PUSH GREEN START LIGHT FOR ABOUT TWO SECONDS
PUSH “ STOP – RESET “
PUSH CLEAR UNTIL THE LIGHT GOES OFF AND NO MESSAGES ARE SHOWN
PUSH F1 ( RESET )
ENTER
ENTER
WAIT UNTIL MACHINE IS RESET
ESCAPE

We absorb an entire closed shop on quick notice, turned out I had Hired the Biesse Operator of the machine some time ago. gonna take a look at letting him integrate it into the shop, when it comes to the custom my Camaster still does the trick,, ran some test panles on a pretty large sculpted panel job so more soon.. Thanks for all the replies I am sure there will be more questions !!
