Anybody know what is the recommended fluid hose pressure to run on a Graco Merkur airless (air assisted). I want to replace with something lighter but afraid 300psi max is not enough.

check finish systems which advertises here, Their hoses are rated 1800 PSI and higher.
300psi is not nearly enough. a burst hose could be very dangerous.
