I am hoping someone can help me with this problem.
I keep getting a PLC44 error when I try to execute a program. I clearly have vacuum pressure as the part is held securely. But the program just hangs up when I press start. It seems like it's waiting for an input.
Any ideas are welcomed!
Thanks in advance.

Try v=0 in the program header somewhere, I think it will run without vacuum that way in Xilog.

Sounds like you don't have enough vacuum

I will check the V=0 option in the header. I thought V was for the feed rate though?
As far as vacuum I definitely have enough suction. I placed a 6"x 96" strip of MDF on the spoilboard and was unable to move it even with most of the spoilboard uncovered. Also it seems like this error is not a lack of suction error code (there is a specific code for that). Instead it's more like it is waiting for the vacuum to be activated which it has.
Anymore ideas are welcome.
Thanks

I typically do not work with SCM equipment, but I suspect the culprit is whatever sends the input to the control that you have adequate vacuum.
I would troubleshoot for an electro-mechanical switch that may be faulting.
Hope this helps!

Had a similar issue with a morbidelli universal 20. It was a loose wire going from the vac sensor in the table to the cnc controller. It was intermittent until I poked it back in order. Check your schematics, they are the most valuable part of your machine.

We just got a new Morbidelli n100 and are getting the same problem. Did you find what fixed the issue? Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.
