We contacted a mesquite supplier we found in your daily listing, flew
to visit them, signed an agreement with them and they are now producing
as many truckloads a month as they can make for us. The service you provide
is exceptionally valuable to our entire woodworking community. Thank you
very much for this major assist!
I am from Oregon, and am now the Plant Manager of Park Woodworking in Lorton, Va. The owner of this company found my ad [at WOODWEB] looking for work last August. I have been working here as of that date. I just wanted to say thank you, WOODWEB. Changed my life. - Rick Qualley
I've obtained lots of valuable information from this website and consider it as valuable as my router bits to my ability to make a decent living building cabinets. - Mark Bruins
I don't know what I would do without you guys. WOODWEB has become a fraternity for me and I go to it every time I get a few extra moments, like visiting the water cooler. I work in the field, which keeps me away most of the day, but on days when I'm home I have to check in AM, noon and evening. I've learned a considerable amount in fields that I didn't even know existed and discovered also that I knew more than I had given myself credit. - Tom Cadenhead
I just have to say, WOODWEB truly rocks! I find the WOODWEB community to be a sort of mentor to my own advancement. It has been a fantastic resource. - Beth Baldwin
The knowledge I have taken from your site has been such a help in every facet of my company... So much has been learned in the past year and a half since I found this site, there is not enough time to implement all the new ideas. Our business has grown in leaps and bounds and sales and profits are way up. Thank you all so very much. - Sean Benetin
I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of you that participate in this forum. I have been coming here for just over a year now and I have learned a tremendous amount from everyone. I have also gained several new relationships with suppliers that have helped to make my business better. I think it is amazing how open you all are to helping guys like me. I look forward everday to logging onto WOODWEB to see what else I can learn. Thanks a bunch. - Travis Alfrey
Thank you all. It's neat to learn from one guy that has been doing it for 50 years. It's REALLY neat to learn from a bunch of people that have been doing it for combined centuries. - Cantus
I love having a place to open it up for answers from the many... Thanks to all that have helped me in so many ways! When we first started in this business, we were kinda green and have become a lot smarter due to the kind people on this fourm. - Randall States
Just wanted to thank you for the greatest woodworking tool anyone can get. WOODWEB is simply the greatest! Being an instructor for 25 years gave me the qualifications (or so I thought) for knowing all there was to know about this thing called woodworking. You never stop learning until the day you die! Thanks again! - Dave Pugh
I am a retired technical writer with over 20 years experience on the side with woodworking. I just accessed your knowledge base to look into vertical vs. horizontal panel saws. By God, your contributors know their business. They have profound insight into manufacturing and ergonomics, and can articulate what they know at a level matching what I had to meet in industry. Your website has it all over the magazines, so many of which are afraid to antagonize their advertisers. Keep up the good work. I will recommend your website to all my colleagues. - Cameron Brown
Your website is the most invaluable resource I have seen. I cannot believe I did not know about it sooner. Incredible! Thank you! - Raymond Goins
I just leaped off the fenced and had the 1525 Stealth by Flexicam delivered last week. Without a doubt it is the right machine for my shop. I wanted to thank everyone who participates in this forum for taking the time to write down their likes, dislikes and experiences. It helps even when you get sandbagged by the sales guys pushing their machines and trashing another's. After a little bit of time you can really zero in on what you need and don't need. - John Prue
Three years ago I started with this CNC WOODWEB Forum. Today I have succesfully led a project to set up a network of 5 routers in 3 countries that run terrifically tight nests on any of the machines. (We don't end up with skeleton sheet scrap, we only have small pieces left between parts to toss out.) I want to thank those who contributed and answered my numerous questions. WOODWEB helped our company catch up! - Chris Mackie
I would like you to remove my post from Friday. I just got a job thanks to WOODWEB, and the post is no longer needed. Thank you for your time. - Daniel Parkington
This is an exceptional resource. I am amazed at the value I have found in the forums. Buying a new Wood-Mizer LT15 to start off with oak and hickory harvesting and looking forward to growing the business. The forum has given me loads of tips and pointed out pitfalls I should consider. - Ray Eytcheson
I am very happy with the Machinery Exchange. I posted a machine for sale and had it sold in three hours. What a great service. - Stewart Norman
It is clear to me that serious woodworkers check the tool listings on WOODWEB in real time. We received our best responses within hours of posting our machines. Thanks for being the 'Grand Central Station' of used woodworking machines. - John Hansen
Great service, sold the machine in less than 24 hours! - David Fuhr
The 5 head moulder has been sold. Please remove it from sale items. We appreciate your web site; we have sold several pieces of equipment through it. A great tool. All of our equipment is sold. Thank you for working with us. - Richard and Bernice Guarnera
WOODWEB is the most comprehensive knowledge base I have come across anywhere in the woodworking industry. Really awesome bank of impressive knowledge. - Lekan Agbaje
Incidentally, since you started the library the day before yesterday, I have received 71 referrals from there... The quality of the referrals cannot be beat. Videos are the way the future is going, obviously. - Jim Chestnut
Just wanted to thank everyone who has contributed to Woodweb's Knowledge Base. The valuable information we have received has literally saved our business. This website is a great resource for all cabinet shops. Thanks again! - Lord and Becki Shah
My brother said you sent TWO! brain protectors. Thanks a million. He is a contactor in New York. He loves the caps and he is stealing one for himself... Once again, you guys are great. Keep up the good work. - Lekan Agbaje
I just found your website a few weeks ago and I just wanted to say thanks. Your format is awesome, ease of use awesome, content... awesome. It is a pleasant suprise that it is mostly pros here so there are actually intelligent conversations. Not, "How do you spray lacquer?" Haven't bought anything from your advertisers yet, but will be sure and look here first. Thanks. - Joel D'Angelo
I wanted to write in to thank you. I was laid off 30 days ago from an Operations Manager position in the wood industry. I used Monster, Career Builder, Hot Jobs, etc., and hands down, the postings I put up on WOODWEB got me more activity than any of them combined. On the other sites, I must have applied to a hundred positions and never heard back once from any of them, yet almost daily I had interested companies emailing me after seeing my post on WOODWEB, the last of which landed me another Operations Manager position at a great company. Again, I want to thank WOODWEB for being a great resource for anyone in the wood products industry. - Matt Lester
Yes, I did get a job! I answered an employer's ad on WOODWEB, and got hired. I only learned about WOODWEB a week ago. I wish I would have known about this service sooner. I have been looking for a job for one year. Thank you!!! - Brian, Cartersville, GA
I wanted to thank you for featuring our bathtub and vanity on your site. It was a great honor as I have been visiting your site for many years. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for your site that project would have never been built. After all, it was your site where I found the job that brought me to Sun Valley, ID over three years ago. This is where I met the client who commisioned me to build that shortly after I opened my own shop. - Kevin Werbinski
I have used Woodweb many times through this project; forums, tech tips and in fact, the classifieds in which I found my CNC, and also a technician to get it installed and running. So, many thanks to you and the staff for such a great resource. - Ken Wheeler
I want to sincerely thank you for your service. A couple of years ago I was looking at a layoff from my job in the wood business. I posted my resume and got several calls and was able to choose who to go to work for. I have an incredible job with a nice salary and commission that I owe to WOODWEB. Thank You Very Much. - Eric
Thank you, my father loves the site and I sold two Oliver machines for him on here. - Zach Tatum
Frankly, I am more interested in the reflection of knowledge on the internet and less interested in the many chat sites concerning woodworking. Much of my business today I can attribute to reading, in depth, information from WOODWEB. - Rob Durfos , Tule Peak Timber
I would like to take the time to let you folks know how much I appreciate your site. And what a blessing it has been to me. Since starting my cabinet shop in '04, I've come to your site for answers to the hard questions, that I have no one to help me with. The information that is made available to start ups, such as I, is invaluable. From estimating to general information concerning everything important to be successful. I've even become knowledgeable about opposite ends of the industry. And have recommended your site to other cabinet shops, that were unaware of you. I just want to give your guys, and everyone who contributes to this site, a hearty "THANK YOU!" I couldn't be where I am today without you, and the leading of Our Lord. - Brooks Conner, Greer, S.C.
Please remove the saws from your website. They sold on the first day... Now everyone in the world is calling me. Please stop the madness. - Tom Jewell |
