First, and most important step, that can not be avoided is engineering. I call it engineering, not drafting, because I truly believe that properly and completely elaborated job is only way to minimize production time and avoid costly mistakes. There are no blank spots left. Actual 3D model is drawn and designed. All the holes, grooves, notches and any necessary machining information is reflected on the file. Hardware is properly specked. After this first engineering step is done, two dimensional, shop or fabrication drawings are automatically generated, laid out and dimensioned for shop use, submittals and installation. 3D model itself can be used for color renderings, isometric exploded views and presentations.
Drafting & Design by Mikhail specializes in drafting and engineering of Architectural Woodworking, Furniture and Interior Design. Our product includes highly detailed and elaborated shop drawings for high end and commercial woodworking shops, conceptual interior design drawings for Architects, designers and residential customers. We can provide 3D perspective views, realistic color renderings and functional 3D computer models. Our work is always highest quality possible. We also specialize in CNC programming for custom cabinet shops. You will receive completely analyzed and nested parts for entire job, or we can supply DXF parts file. See some samples of our work.
