High Gloss panels for Kitchen Doors and Drawer Fronts10/29/15
Can anyone recommend a product for euro cabinets that is stable and smooth and high gloss? Something factory made.
I use Northern Contours, there a great company to deal with.
Parapan high gloss acrylic from Element Designs. have used it in 4 kitchens already very nice material
What's the approximate square footage cost of the Parapan product?
Its about $65.00 square foot canadian
we gave been using high glass Acrylic for 3 years and it is our most popular product, especially in kitchens combined with textured melamine for the base cabinets. Some photos included. We make the doors ourselves with acrylic veneer or in 3/4" panels with the acrylic already laid up. Matching 1 or 2mm banding is available and if you have a good quality Bander it makes a georgeous door. Very hot in Florida at the moment.
Here are some more pics showing use of material, we pay 150.00 for 4x9 sheets of the veneer alone from Richelieu America, northern contours has a thinner version as well and we buy 4x12 x3/4 sheets on MDF for around 225.00 per sheet already laid up from Unity General in Miami.
Hi Harold very nice work
I have never had telegraphing problems as this material is very thick. Spray contact cement with even thin coat. We buy most of it already laid up. Nice work. My laid up sheets with satin back cost me 4.06sqft. Nice work
These guys will cut and band your parts with the high gloss panels so you can't see the seam in the banding.
