Import to Biesseworks from PYTHA12/30/16
If David's method isn't working for you I would compare the tool to the geometry for an exact match or insert the name of drilling tool you want in the layer (TCD$)

I'm sorry I don't have experience with Pytha, just BIesseWorks.
It sounds like you are in over your head.
If you get a 32bit version of Autocad installed, 2002 to 2016 (17 is working, just have not fixed a few bugs and built the installer) and make some sort of donation to Woodweb that they verify, I will send you copy of SmartLister to create some exports for Biesseworks. That's all I think I can do for you. No one I know actually uses Biesseworks for various reasons. If you have the software, you might as well use it until you learn more.
BSWorks when installed on PC first time defaults to the basic import module for the import of the dxf,CNI. Go to general settings, dxf import and confirm you select the BSWorks Import file format not the CNI and Save. As stated above, the "TCH" on the layer and the correct variable in $xx$, will import the geometry and the technical information associated to the geometry. The drop down menu in the general settings, dxf import lists all of the parameters that are available and two editable to match the layer name. Send me a PM and I can send you document detailing the structure of such layers.
