Curved staircase - staircase skirt
5/4/20
I have a curved staircase and had to create a skirt to cover some defects in it after installing hardwood. I used very thin 1/4" wobbly wood ply which I scribed to fit.
My question is now how to attach it to the wall. Since the staircase is curved mechanically affixing it will still leave gaps. Is there an adhesive that will hold the ply to the sheetrock? It doesn't need a huge amout of hold (the wood is super bendy).
Any recommendations?

Construction adhesive and lots of bowed sticks.

Thanks Jared.
Would you use a standard PL premium or is there a better option?
I have never used no more nails panelling but thought it might fit the bill.

Probably a little late with my response but i'd use a trowelable construction adhesive. Trowel it on your wood, stick it to the wall, pull it away for a couple of minutes and restick it. If you have a laminate roller, roll it with that and add some brads where necessary.
