Circular staircase and how to create reveal between parapet cap and plaster

I'm attaching 3 cad views and a photo of a large stair project( pre plaster and tread/riser/capping and handrail maple finish) that we have in progress. The architect wants a different capping detail than what was originally drawn. That is the view with the 3/16" lip which covers the ground and the joint with the plaster. The architect wants a cap with sides flush to the plaster and a reveal between. (see other x-section)
On a straight flat wall this reveal would be no problem, but on curved parapet wall with eased transitions not so much. The plasterer says there is no way to configure L-bead in a way that would give a good clean, smoothe edge and adequately protect the edge of the plaster. In the "flush w reveal" drawing I've drawn in a bead element with less than total confidence that something like that is workable. (flange of an l-bead is dispensed with and the bead would be stapled to the bottom edge of the ground/reveal). What is drawn is in the category of sheet metal and the curved pieces would need to be custom made and fit. Other materials I've thought about have been acrylic plastic and maybe 1/16" aluminum. My concerns are: what would protect that plaster edge adequately? what would provide the clean sharp edge? and would a crack open between that part and the plaster? The plasterer is normally reponsible for this stuff but in this case I'll be doing the work.
If anyone has experience with something like this or suggestions of resources I'd like to hear about them.

Fry reglet type reveal on a compound curve it seems? Would seem on the plasterers end only option is hand cutting the fixed edge of a pvc flexible Jbead to allow it to compound curve. Then your cap is what it is? Big dallaz.

I'd talk to a sheetmetal fab shop or a tinknocker who does curved flashings for doors and windows and such, both sources will have a metal forming tool called a shrinker/stretcher and should be able to form a bead to match the stairs and the plasterer can use as a ground.
But be prepared to pay for it, and let the architect/client know its extra work for you....

What am I missing? What's wrong with regular vinyl plaster bead?
If it doesn't want to bend, just a little heat gun should convince it. Comes in all profiles.

Easiest would probably be strips of azek stapled in place and coated in a release film, then removed after scratch coating.
