what is the maxium drawer width you guys would use in a 24'' deep cabinet. I have a customer that wants a 45''-47'' wide drawer. these will be on either side of her fireplace. i dont think it will be loaded down to much. im using Blum Tantem slides.

Several years ago I made a couple of bedroom sets for my daughters.
Each set had a low dresser with drawers of about the same dimensions.
The drawers are on full extension slides.
The are just OK. A little bit too much side to side sway but they have made do.
I was stuck with the size of the dresser due to room layout, etc.
Just warn your customer and look into the stabilizer kit the other poster talked about.

The lateral stability of a progressive full extension side mount is clearly better. and Accuride or KV offer a better solution for wide drawers. Check out common or standard file drawers Vs. lateral file drawers applications as an example

Hafele sells the Grass Dynapro Heavy duty undercounts with 132lb capacity. They are quite robust for large drawers. Other option is the new Accuride 3634 with "easy-close" which have 150lb capacity and require 3/4" sidespace.

Use the 569's and the stabilizer and they'll be fine.

Grass slides don't need the stabilizers and (according to one of my wholesalers) are good up 52"
