Top drawer opening

For those of you that do face frame cabinets, what is the opening height of your top drawers? I have been doing mine at 6 inches but am thinking of changing to 5 inches. This will make using standard drawer blank material more efficient.

6" makes for a really deep drawer. Lots of wasted space around an entire kitchen.
We've always done 5" as well

If we use a buy out 5 piece front we make a 6 1/8" opening to accept a 6" front ( their min. ). All drawers are made 1" smaller for undermount slides. If we make our fronts than we can make to our specs. we don't use standard drawer material so this is not an issue
