Looking for the mitered door pattern9/13/20
This is a longshot but looking for any of the following about the cabinet door in the attached picture.
* Anyone have a knife for it?
I quoted a high number to make one and customer is interested. I've searched online and haven't found a matching profile. Thought maybe someone here might have a lead.
For one, a shaper knife and power feeder gets you there quickly.
Haven't found the knife profile online and trying not having to make one.
Looking for someone who can punch the door out is smart but likely a long shot. Conestoga had a Louis XIII mitered door pattern that looks close but doesnt have the outer bead and the panel raise is different. Dont know if searching for Louis XIII may get you something close on a knife or entire door.
Templating and having a pair of knives ground for the W&H would be our route but even at that I'd hope your high number is like a grand or more for a single by the time your done with templating, buying/shipping the knives, running the single door, and stain/finish matching.
Have you tried decorative specialties?
Thanks, these are the responses I was looking for. I was able to find a couple of doors online that are similar.
And yes, I quoted around 1k if they wanted me to make a knife and they still seemed interested.
In situations like this I try to sell them a kitchen refresh package.
