Flooring Trim After Cabinet Install

If I’m installing cabinets before the flooring goes in in a remodel situation, I typically will come back after and install the toe kicks once the flooring guys are done. When flooring butts up to cabinet end panels and it needs trim, whose responsibility is it to install trim around the floor gaps, me or the flooring guys?

Typically the cabinet guy. Around here it'd take an act of congress to get them to come back in any case.

Another good reason to use adjustable legs and snap on toe kicks. Let them put the flooring up to the posts and then come back and snap on the toe kick.

We go used to round & round with this one. A lot of the manufactured flooring has matching shoe so I would think in that case the flooring guys. Having said that I can certainly make a better looking base trim to go around the Island sides & finished ends that go all the way to the floor for instance. Either way after we design and get approval I will get with the prime contractor or home owner and discuss this and things like sub tops and of course charge accordingly... I hate thinking were done and...
