hinge for inset door with applied bead.

I need to find a hinge for cabinet doors that are similar to the ones in the picture. They have an applied bead on the outer edge, they are inset and the bead needs to be proud of the face frame. I have 3/32" margins. I tried regular euro hinges but because the bead is proud by 1/4", it rubs against the face frame on the hinge side when opening. Would a thick door hinge solve the problem, or is there something else that would work?

Did you try a thick door hinge, or a 40 mm cup hinge?

I have not tried the thick door hinge but I wanted input as to weather or not they would work before I go out and by 150 hinges.

Assuming that bead is less than 1.125" thick , a thick door hinge will work down to about a 1/16" ~1.5mm reveal.

You also need to be aware of the panel thickness at it's thinest part. Some hinges require a boring depth of 15 mm.
Don't all hardware manufacturers provide a cad drawing showing these dimensions and the required clearances?

Here is a CAD that illustrates the basic idea.

Although this CAD does not show the bead, it is for a 1" thick door, inset, for face frame cabinets. Same concept as the beaded door in question. This is not a soft close hinge.

The soft close version item is C2RBPE9.
The cup depth for this soft close is 15.5mm.

Here are the Salice options for the beaded doors:

Hinge: C2RBP99 - inset, self-close, with dowels. 11mm cup depth
Plate: BAR3RC9 - 12mm mounting plate

Hinge: C2RBPE9 inset, soft-close, with dowels. 15.5mm cup depth
Plate: BAR3RC9 12mm mounting plate
