I posted this on Reddit, but didn't get many responses, so I'm hoping to get a bit more info here...
I'm trying to decide on corner hardware for a 36" base corner cabinet with inset doors. I definitely DON'T want any kind of fold out doors, but prefer doors that swing into the cabinet with the lazy Susan. With that in mind, what are your suggestions. I've been looking at the Hafele Kessebohmer Revo Corner Unit and have heard good things. But it's over $500 to buy the hardware and shelves. For comparison, the Rev-A-Shelf Pie Cut Lazy Susan is only around $150. I get that the Hafele is a more slick "folding" door design and the shelves are more posh than the white plastic of the Rev-a-Shelf, but are there any other considerations? I currently have a 35 year-old Rev-A-shelf and the current model looks identical to what I have. The main thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a strong detent to set it into the closed position as it swings back around. It looks like the Hafele does, maybe? Are there other options that might be less expensive than the Hafele that are durable and less cheap looking than the Rev-A-Shelf? Are there models with any-post-install adjustment options (like for door placement)? Or any that have wood pie-cut shelves, but are functionally like the Rev-A-Shelf?
And no, I'm not interested in changing my design to a fold-out door. Yes, I'm aware there are pinch hazards to swing in doors...
