I am a 1-person CNC shop that has a range of repeat business from a variety of customers. One, a local cabinet maker and I are looking to expand and combine resources where I would cut all his cabinet parts(mostly residential kitchens and built-ins) He averages 3-4 jobs/month. Projects range from 8-12 sheets per. I have found older discussion threads(3-5 years old) with numbers like $30-$50 per sheet. That seems low. Can I ask, what are some current per sheet pricing you use?

125.00 per sheet, 105.00 if they load/ unload.

JAMES 125.00 per sheet equates out to 625.00 per hour. we are at 27.5 per sheet witch equates out to 137.5 per hour plus tape at .275 cents per foot.
that being said we are taking a 10 % jump at the end of the month.

I cut nests for other shops that run mozaik in my area .

I charge 25.00 per sheet for cut out only - such as cabinet backs or drawer bottoms etc..

I charge 50.00 a sheet for sheets that contain cutting and drill bank work - cabinet sides ,bottoms etc.

I charge 125.00 per hour for banding time ,I supply glue and customer supplies the banding .

We average about 10 min per sheet including off load and labeling .

So say about 225 - 275 per hour on CNC time

I cover bits and spoilboard out of that .

CNC dowel inserting is also billed at 125.00 per hour .

At $25 per sheet, are you including tooling and a real shop overhead price? I think you are way under valuing yourself.

Yes Rich , 2500 sheets.

So I cut sheets for other shops to keep the cnc busy, not for our main source of income.

The Photos are for a job we engineered , built and installed.

It consisted of 54 sheets of Laminate in wild cherry ( ordered as layups )
5 sheets of mirlux high gloss white, 12 sheets of white melamine 3/4 and 5 sheets of white melamine 1/4 and 9 sheets of 3/4 plywood ( booth ribs and structures. A good amount of foam and Boltaflex fabric for the booth seating.

I would be curious as to where others would price this as most that I have talked to that have seen it put it in the 125,000.00 to 150,000.00 range meaning that I left a TON of money on the table.

I charge $32 per program ran.
So if I have flip ops, it's $64 per sheet.

Edge banding I charge by the foot.

I cut MDF doors for another shop, those I charge by area and include material. If they want hinge holes, I charge $32 per sheet to flip those
