well our router is setup.
its a 4x8 480
C1 weeke,it uses 3 Becker pumps that are rated at 325 m3/H...
coupled with a belfab drawing about 5500 cfm for dust collection..
issue, while my parts for the first job we ran on it did not move at all, the start up vacuum is barely enough to let the machine start the program.
i am not familiar with alot of the terminology as far as vacuum units go,but the gauge on the side of my machine has to read past(on the left counterclockwise)-.45 BAR,-6.5 PSI.
i have been plagued with what i consider LDF which at some point my suppliers switched to rather than MDF as i have been sold.never really mattered till now i guess.
we work with mostly raw materials ,either mdf, particle board or plywood panels...
i guess the real question is ,is that minimum switch set about right or is it being over cautious?
things i have done to remedy the issue.
*hunted down some MDF , the reading is now some what more favorable, but as soon as i get a panel thats warped , i know it will not start the program.
*painted the edge of both the 5/8" LDF and the 3/4" MDF, it helped considerably.
*i tested both types of spoil sheets 49x97 by covering them with a 48x96 plastic sheet, got readings of -.7 BAR,-10 psi.
