I have biesse cnc that gives me an error that the tool in the magazine does not match the cone test. The tool is loaded and it says its not. I ran my program and when it went to switch bits it stalled out and said the magazine was empty. I have unloaded the tool and loaded it back and I still get this error. I have shut down completely and it still doesnt work!
But if the tools didnt match up you should also get an error when you try to optimize in Biesse editor at the machine.
Either way, call biesse directly they have great support and phone support is free.
as above call Biesse to walk you through
Have you gotten a solution? I'm curious to know what it was .
I had a tech from biesse come out and the problem was that 2 of our tool forks on the magazine were cracked. Apparently there is like a .0005 mm tolerance, so with it cracked it was pushing down on it and not reading the correct height.
I'm having a similar problem with my Rover J. When a tool holder is present in the spindle, the sensor reads as no tool holder. When the tool holder is absent in the spindle, the machine functions perfectly. Could this be a polarity problem? Or a setting on the hand held controller?
I appreciate any and all suggestions.
