I'd like to try gluing up laminate on particle board and then cutting the pieces on my Weeke CNC machine. Any advice on cutters speed etc?

I've used the 3184XP with pretty good results. Run at 16k rpm and 500 ipm.
The laminate will degrade the cutting edge but I think I got about 100 sheets per tool. Maybe slightly less.

I second David's post. We use the exact same setup. Good to know we are doing something right!

I haven't used one but my buddy does a lot of that and he uses a diamond because some of the laminates eat tooling so fast.

Your tooling manufacter should have some recommendations. The idea is to take enough material to keep the bit from overheating.
Vortex has a smartphone app I use all the time.
