Hi
I was looking for information on cpp, and i see you had posted a q some time ago. I guess either cpp was a success for you or you binned it, either way your knowledge will be a help.
I am currently using mozaik software to design and create g codes for mostly kitchens, but also closets. I am a one man shop, making the carcasses from melamine, making doors from mdf cut on the cnc or traditional 5 piece, spray painting prior to installation and then finally installation. As you can Imagine 20 good kitchens and a similar amount of wardrobes along with other bits and pieces just about fills a years work for me.
I had prior to getting the cnc used cabinet planner for sales purposes, and although it is not the most sophisticated it certainly was good enough to show the customer the basic layout.
I find with mozaik that I do the initial design as quickly as possible, skipping details as the job may not come to fruition. Later on if the job is won, I end up going back in and redesigning each cabinet to the correct specs, shelf location, drawer spaces etc, etc. In the end i could end up spending hours redesigning cabinets. It is a PITA.
I could do the initial drawing probably quicker on cabinet planner. I was hoping that you could tell me if cpp is the solution to get parts to g code quickly, both cabinets and mdf doors. mostly the cabinets are straight forward base and wall cabs with some tall dresser type units etc. It is for the most part quite repetitive.
Thanks for any help or advice
