CNC Flattening slabs longer than table

Hi. Just wondering if there are any tricks to flattening slabs longer than the work area. 4x8 cnc and I need to flatten some 9 foot slabs. Too big to do on the diagonal as well. Thanks in advance.

We do this periodically. Have 100" in Y and have flattened 14' material. We just support the outbound material with machinist jacks to get it on plane with the bed. Where you are not at a full 2x of your Y you should be able to flatten all you can reach, flip, and tram/zero your remaining end with a mag base indicator. When Ive done material thats closer to the full 2x of Y traveI will tram what I can reach and use a long arm for the indicator to reach as far onto the machined area as possible. If you trust/check that your machine is dead level you can use a self leveling laser but I doubt it would ever be as accurate as traming the part in using a dial indicator.

Replace the vacuum table for better adsorption on the work table.
