I was wondering if there are any Kremlin discount dealers around. I'm getting ready to guy another new pump (3rd one this year), If there is an on line discounter I'd like to see what they charge. Any ideas please lmk. Thanks

Buy a kremlin system and get an extra gun and tip free.

The air-assisted airless gun is the most important part of the system. Therefore, shop around for pumps. Check out Berizzi air-assisted airless pumps (kmcoatings - dot com) for some great savings.

Consider using a Tritech airless pump, that's another alternative.

Prona (from China) makes a great quality AAA gun for under $400 USD, but I don't think that they make pumps.

Graco Merkur is my favorite AAA pump, and the C.A. Technologies pumps are also nice.

Caveat: pay real good attention to the size of the pickup tube. E.g., the Merkur 15:1 has a massive pickup tube like an elephant's trunk. The Merkur 30:1 pickup tube (and the CAT H20 15:1) have pickup tubes that are nicely narrow. The difference that ID diameter/volume makes can mean thousands of dollars a year in solvent to flush the pumps. That pickup tube will cost you a boatload extra by not taking this criterion into consideration.

Graco told me that, no, I cannot switch out different size pickup tubes, that the sizes are matched to the specs of each pump.

The 30:1 Merkur will pay for itself at today's cost of solvents.

daniel, graco did not exactly tell you correct information. here is why, so much depends on the viscosity of the material and the flow rate of the pump. just like there is a pressure drop on the outbound side of pump fluid hose, the same applies to the suction size..... that being said, i could bore people with the formula but i promise that most one gun pumps and be easily supplied with a 3/8 id suction hose and pick up tube , also the length of each also figures into this plan, again we are dealing with fluid movement or restriction of flow, bottom line most post cats can be easily handled with much narrower suction hose assy that what are supplied by the mfg......also mfg have also gone away from standard npt siphon inlets to less standard bsp etc making it harder for us small business people to get siphon hoses made up locally....
