Parts for old Powermatic machines

I have a Powermatic TS 120 shaper. It is a great machine but I would like to add a smaller spindle, factory wrenches and possibly replace the spindle bearing(s). Does anyone know where these parts might be available. It is an old machine made in Italy I believe by SCM. Thanks for your help.

Did you check on eBay? Lots of machines get parted out there.

I believe the rebadged Powermatic machines were made by SAC. They have been out of business for a while now.

I am guessing it would be more cost effective to buy a used shaper and get the spindles sizes you want. I bought this off Craigs List for $350.00 asking price. Took it apart and cleaned it up. It came with a 1/2" spindle, I bought a new 1" spindle, new pulley and belt.

Try Redmond Machinery in Palmetto, GA. They have a lot of old PM parts.

Here is a link to a old Powermatic catalog showing the imported SAC rebadged machines.
It shows optional 3/4 and 1” shafts. So there might be a few floating around. Possibly try a wanted ad here or on the OWWM.
Bearings are easy for European machines and can be sourced from many places.
If no luck on the shaft you could have the original copied in a smaller size by a good machine shop while you have the machine apart for bearing change.
