2 cents, not an expert struggling YouTuber .16:9 aspect ratio, but your color really good.
Go for the mainstream woodworker, not many guys are going to relate to having 6 sanders.
They're a big hole in YouTube there are not many experienced woodworkers out there

Thanks kevin. Can you clarify don't shoot in 16:9 aspect? Thanks for the tip on the audience as well! I was more pissed off at mirka for changing the design

I hope you're getting a kickback from Mirka. I just picked up a Deros 6" and love it.
I would have liked a discussion of the dust collection efficiency of the sander which is important to me, however, i guess you run a down draft table. I machined a hose adapter for my shop vacuum and the sander is the best I have used for dust control.

I ran my Mirka through a Dust Deputy with a basic Ridgid shop vac and it works great. I can fill a 5 gallon bucket with dust and there is barley any in the vac filter and almost none in the vac.

I connected my Mirka sander to a Dust Deputy with a basic Ridgid shop vac, and the setup works incredibly well. I can fill a 5-gallon bucket with dust, yet there's barely any dust on the vacuum filter and almost none inside the vacuum itself. This configuration significantly enhances the efficiency of dust collection by effectively separating most of the dust before it reaches the vacuum, reducing the need for frequent filter changes and maintaining suction power over longer periods. It’s an excellent solution for keeping the workspace clean and extending the lifespan of the vacuum.

Where are you guys buying the Mirkas I look online and seems to be around $742 for the 6" DEROS without a vac Is that about right? I have just bought a 6" surf pro for about $590 ( IWF show price) Has anyone compared the two as far as performance?

That sounds rightfor a mirka. They are expensive compared to an air powered model. I have not tried a surf pro but have always wondered what they are like.
@tom gardiner, no kickbacks from mirka for me. In fact i usually send them a straight shooter opinion about some of their products, some good reviews, some negative reviews.
I dont know why they discontinued the ceros because in my opinion it is the far better setup. The transformer box was probably the cost issue vs an onboard chip for dc power.
