Customer want locks on a 3 drawer stack after we installed. Does anyone know a way to install one lock for all 3 or do I have to install three locks? Slides are 230M
Pricey, but doable: http://stealthlock.com
Some old desks like classic roll tops had a single top drawer lock that engaged the entire stack of drawers below.
It's been a real long time since I've had my hands on one of those but what I recall is a vertical metal rod at the rear that was taken up and down by the key action. When the key was turned one way the rod went up, the other way it went down.
When the rod traveled downward several down facing U shapes of rod engaged a catch (think screw eye) on the back of each drawer.
