Rip fence modification12/9
Hello, I recently purchased a Felder k 700 panel saw 2007 and the rip fence was damaged in transit. Felder told me they no longer make a replacement fence and Iíve scoured the web looking for one. Does anyone know if there is a replacement rip fence compatible with a k 700? The guide tube is 50 mm. Thanks in advance! Iíve attached a few pics.
I put a Biesmeyer on a Felder at my last job. Can't take pics, I'm retired now.
Grab the damaged parts and head to a machine shop.
I have found this to be the best (and often, only) solution to getting parts for old and obscure machines. A good machine shop can do things efficiently and often improve on the originals.
Odd that Felder can sell you the new saw, but not parts? As for the damge, who is responsible - shipper - Felder or you?
The OP never said he purchased it new from Felder, in fact he said it's a 2007. Not seeing exactly what's broken, but anything can be machined.
