Air pressure drops to near zero psi as soon as a tool is triggered.
It's a big Saylor Beall compressor with a filter and regulator inline.
Bad regulator or filter?
Thanks so much in advance!

Do you regularly drain condensation from the compressor tank?

Probably not as often as I should...but I don't see how that could produce my symptoms.

If the tank is half full of water, you have very little capacity.

Filter or regulator. Look at both. Another possibility is that any black iron fittings could be packed up with rust. Start with the filter elements. If you haven't replaced them before then they are due. Next replace the regulator if necessary.

Thanks, all.
Replaced the filter and now all good.
Again,
Thanks!

With a clogged filter I would inspect the tank for any rust and also the condition of the metal fittings. The contamination is coming from somewhere and you don't want a tank failure. Google images of tank ruptures.
