Brandt Edgbander Software Backup Wanted - PC16 Controls

I'm searching for a current or fairly current software update for a Brandt edgebander or shape sand machine with the older PC16 controls. Updates for later machines might also work, I'm not sure. My Brandt SP56 Shape Sand is currently having problems and it looks like I'll need to update the software. The update I was quoted from the factory is unfortunately prohibitively expensive. I believe they came either on a Compact Flash card or the old school 3-1/4" Diskette. The update should be easy to copy, or I would be happy to borrow it copy it and send it right back. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. A photo of the ideal update is attached.

did anyone ever answer you? I am looking for the same thing, Homag is charging $1600 for this :(

I faced the same problem. Stiles wanted to charge me $3200 for the software. If the machine has stood for a long time the battery for the memory eventually fails and wipes the PLC parameters. You should check the small green 3.5 Volt Varta battery if you haven't already. Stiles gave me a parameters and I'll look to see if I can find them. You can attempt to manually load the parameters line by line. I wasn't ever able to get the machine to take the parameters this way though. $1600 seems a bit criminal to me but that's what they charge. Are you located in the US?
