MLC vs Lenmar

Hello everyone
I'm trying to decide if I should look into the Lenmar brand vs MLC that I've been using
My problem now is that my supplier for MLC is not great
They only have one person doing color match and only there once a week
(COVID 19/not enough employees etc....)
So there's a Lenmar dealer(Benjamin Moore paint store) that has people there to help everyday
I stopped today and picked up a gallon of pre-cat to try it out
They told me that pre-cat is what they sell more than post cat like CV
I would like to hear from people who had experience with Lenmar
How do you like it?
And is it as good?or better? Than MLC?
Any info would be appreciated

To weigh having a good supplier against having a product that you already know, that's the tightrope of decision making.

I can't comment on precats because I have an intense dislike of them. To me, they're a glorified nitrocellulose lacquer, yellowing just as much, but with an added dry mil thickness limitation of no more than 5 dry mils.

Perhaps use Lenmar for your painted topcoats and MLC for your clears and your primers and sealers?

I also not crazy about pre-cat
I'm trying the Lenmar pre-cat that I got over the weekend on a up coming job
However it is a oak cabinet door so the grain is showing (homeowners knows about grain showing and are okay with it)
I'm going to spray something else like a piece of MDF also to see how clean it lays
I just don't know what to do
I would like to stick with just one brand but if MLC is going to be a problem I don't want to deal with it
Will post later after I put second coat and report what I think

I have used both. Mlc kept going up in price so I switched to Lenmar. Been using it for many years. N O problem with any of there products. But they gone up in price recently. Once you find out how to spray and the correct tip size and a good brand of gun then most major brands spray well.

My MLC supplier is not keeping up with my orders
I did tried the Lenmar pre-cat and looks good to me
But do you have any experience with their CV?
Don't get me wrong pre-cat is ok but CV is much better
Please anyone who uses Lenmar brand

I've used a few gallons of Lenmar Duralaq WB, both clear and white. Both sprayed great and looked great. Also sprayed Duralaq Undercoater WB under the white topcoat. Amazing low viscosity and laid down beautifully. I would not use the Duralaq WB products for kitchen cabinets, but for non KCMA applications they are easy to spray, flow out great, cure hard, and look great.

Lenmar CV used it plenty of times no issues what so ever, its a fine product. Just like all CV immediate and complete clean up is a must.

It took me a while but I finally got my guys to really clean up the guns everyday. It takes a little bit more time but they are ready to spray everyday and spray well.

I use Lenmar CV a lot and really like it.
Never had a problem with it.
